Did Someone Say Dinosaur?!
This summer is going to be big for my family. I have something fun lined up for us over the course of the next two months. The first stop on our list was Jurassic Quest. How awesome would it be to have had the chance to live in a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Although, it probably would have been just as terrifying as it was awesome.
Once entering Jurassic Quest you are immediately greeted with dinosaurs both left and right of you. Gigantic dinosaurs that move and make noise. The detail of each dinosaur and realistic movement makes the show incredible. If I have to admit I was a little convinced a few times. My husband knew most of the dinosaurs by name. He plays Ark -_- If your husband or son plays Ark then you know my pain. He he..
The exhibit was filled with many dinosaur displays and each with their own sounds. There was even a scene where one of the dinosaurs were attacking another and the one being attacked was bleeding. The blood was actually pouring out of the dinosaur as if you were front row at a dinosaur fight. We made our way around the exhibit a few times, the kids could hardly contain their excitement, and then we finally moved on to the activities.
The first activity we came to offered kids a ride on a dinosaur. Then we made our way to the blow up bouncy houses. In the middle of the boys playing on one of the bounce house a dinosaur came walking through. Everyone’s face lit up. It was great to see all of the kids happy and having fun. There were many other exhibits including: face painting, digging for bones/artifacts, green screen photos and more! I can’t giveaway all of the secrets though. You will have to go enjoy it for yourself 😉
Up until now,Jurassic Quest has done 48 shows a year, but starting next month, they will have 96 shows a year, because we are splitting to two shows next month. This will allow them to reach more cities that they haven’t reached yet. The new show will have all new dinosaurs. They usually release the dates on their website about a month or month and a half in advance. I recommend getting to the show as early as possible. There was a huge crowd when we were there and they continued to pour in. One line we waited in an entire hour but the boys really wanted to jump in it.
