I hate to admit that when I started my blog years ago it was difficult to connect with other supportive women. Most of the other bloggers I came across were not very helpful or supportive. In all honesty, I know it can be a little difficult to help a newbie out but at the same time I love supporting other women so I don’t see the harm. It wasn’t until the very beginning of this year that I realized just how important a strong group of supportive women can actually be.
I remember New Years Day 2018 like it was yesterday. I was setting goals and making plans for the year when I received an email letting me know that Style Collective, a community strictly for women bloggers, was open for enrollment. I learned about Annie Spano and her supportive community, Style Collective, from when she was a guest on Julie Solomon’s podcast. I knew enrollment didn’t open far to often and I wanted to capitalize on this opportunity. I spoke with my husband about the upfront costs and we both agreed that I would make the leap. Honestly, this was the first time I had shelled out this kind of money on something to help my blog grow and girl was I excited!
Over the past 9 months Style Collective has helped me grow, not only as a blogger but also as a person. The entire Style Collective community is much like a family as opposed to a big group of strangers. In fact, we call each other SISTERS! Annie Spano, the mastermind behind Style Collective, has a story that I feel many of us can relate to. Annie was in the corporate world and worked with a work bully. It was rough for Annie but she pushed through and was able to leave her corporate job, and the work bully, to blog full time. She helps encourage other women daily and, although I’ve never met her, I just love her for that!
Style Collective has everything we could ever need, as women bloggers. My favorite features include:
Monthly Blog Prep Kit – The blog prep kit comes out a few weeks before each month. This post breaks down shopping trends, special dates, popular monthly hashtags, and even gives you a few blog post topic ideas. The monthly blog prep kit is one of my favorite Style Collective resources!
Brand Directory – Collaborating has never been easier with the Style Collective brand directory. The brand directory gives you all the information to businesses, broken down by category, that have collaborated with Style Collective Sisters. Bonus: the businesses are also labelled as paid or non-paid.
E Courses and Guides – I absolutely love the e courses and guides section on Style Collective. These include downloadable books/guides that help you improve certain areas you may be struggling in. There is a guide on pitching and it’s helped me land deal after deal. Bonus: these guides usually include some form of printable!
These are just a few of the resources offered through Style Collective and all of them are essential pieces to helping you grow as a blogger and business woman. Enrollment is now open but only for a limited time! So what are you waiting for?! Enroll today and join a fearless group of boss babes ready to help you become a better you!
